New Antimicrobial Resources for AFB Management Now Available as 2019 Season Kicks Off

New antibiotic regulations came into effect on December 1, 2018. 

These regulations change how beekeepers access antibiotics used to prevent American foulbrood (AFB) in their colonies. These resources have been developed to help beekeepers in Ontario navigate these regulatory changes, including a growing list of veterinarians who have completed OBA's Tech-Transfer Program's Antimicrobial Management for Beekeeping Workshop.
