Ontario Beekeepers Association Spring Meeting - Register Now!
The OBA Spring Meeting will take place Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st at the Holiday Inn in Burlington, ON.
Convention will be hybrid: In-person & ONLINE via Zoom (both require registration)
Early bird registration rates will end on March 16th - Don't delay.
We’re looking forward to gathering with friends and colleagues.
Friday will focus on honey production, while Saturday will cover raising and selecting queens and producing nucs with insight from OBBA and ORHBS members. We’ll have an informative line-up of speakers to bring you up-to-date on the latest beekeeping research and issues.
Our keynote speaker for both days will be Anicet Desrochers of Miels d’Anicet in Quebec (

On Friday, he’ll tell us about their business model for producing and marketing artisanal honey and products of the hive, while on Saturday he’ll speak about their queen breeding program, Api Culture Hautes Laurentides, which ships 15,000 queens across Canada every year.

The Meeting:
We'll have vendors and information booths ready to chat with you about all things beekeeping. Vendors include Dancing Bee Equipment, Propolis-etc, Dominion and Grimm, NOD, Apple Labels, UoG Honey Bee Research Centre, Canada Wax, Nectar Technologies and Junior Beekeepers.
The option to attend online is available if you can't make it to Burlington.
A block of rooms has been set aside for the conference at a preferred rate. The code and access information for booking your stay at the hotel is found within the registration page. Deadline for booking the room at the preferred rate is March 17th.
